Security Weaver Highlights the Value of Efficient ERP User Management at SAP TechEd 2013

Security Weaver showcased three leading solutions during SAP TechEd 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada from October 21st to October 25th. The products were Security Weaver License Manager, Transaction Archive and Password reset.

This year’s SAP TechEd attendees also had an opportunity to better understand Security Weaver’s Transaction Archive module. Security Weaver’s CEO, Terry Hirsch was pleased with the growing interest he sees in the Transaction Archive module. Other discussions concerning Security Weaver’s Transaction Archive module centered around its ability to quickly identify permissions which are no longer needed. These dormant ID’s are not only security breeches waiting to happen but also may be causing the company to waste licenses on users who do not need them. With Security Weaver’s Transaction Archive, companies can quickly clean their systems of abandoned or seldom user ID’s and thereby improve their standing with both internal and external auditors.
A third solution highlighted at the show was Security Weaver’s Password Reset. It was a crowd favorite. With estimated calls to reset a password costing $40-$100 per year per employee, and the high level of distraction caused to IT staff, customers are realizing a positive return on investment within within months after going live.
